"I am a student of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. As part of my social responsibility I would like to help people in rural India gain access to clean drinking water.
India has a continuously increasing population and thus the demand for clean water is increasing day by day. The unfortunate part is that approximately 3/4ths of the people in India do not have access to purified water. The access of contaminated water in India causes multiple water borne diseases such as Cholera, Typhoid, Diarrhea etc. in India diarrhea alone kills 1,600 people everyday.
This is a serious problem. The lack of safe drinking water not only causes deaths but also contributes to a major loss in the GDP of India."
